Join us for a very special visit from Clemson Extension Master Gardener Lisa Turocy! Together, we will discover the wonders of plant propagation in this hands-on class, suitable for students age 10 and beyond.
Throughout the session, MG Lisa will give a general introduction to plant propagation, with discussion focusing on practical propagation techniques, proper tools, equipment, growing media, and, if there is time, common problems you might encounter during the process.
This class is recommended for students ages 10+. We ask caregivers to use their discretion and we encourage students to come with a genuine interest in the subject and an eagerness for active participation. With MG Lisa's expertise, they will gain a deeper understanding of plant biology, fostering scientific inquiry, and critical thinking skills.
While we love our gardening friends of all ages, this class is best suited for children ages 10 and up, but may be adapted for participants as young as 8. We kindly ask unregistered children do not attend.
A minimum of 5 registrations is required for this program to run.
