What started with a nine-year-old girl and a 40 pound cabbage has grown into a national youth based non-profit with the mission to empower kids across the country to grow a better tomorrow for the neighbors facing hunger and food insecurity. Since beginning in 2009, Katie's Krops has grown and donated over 700,000 lbs of produce to communities across the country and in Africa, served over 120,000 hot, healthy, fresh and free meals, enaged over 50,000 volunteers of all ages.
