In this one day indigo workshop, students will learn all about the indigo plant, how blue dye can be processed from the plant, and the crop's importance in SC history, guided by artist Cat Brantley of Sister Moon Studio. Students will each create their own "shibori" indigo dyed fabric tea towel set to take home, along with illustrating the indigo plant and learning what makes this subtropical plant thrive.
