Join us for a very special visit from Clemson Extension Master Gardener Lisa Turocy! Together, we will discover the wonders of plant propagation in this hands-on class, suitable for students in 2nd grade and beyond.
Throughout the session, MG Lisa will give a general introduction to plant propagation, with discussion focusing on practical propagation techniques, proper tools, equipment, growing media, and, if there is time, common problems you might encounter during the process.
This class is recommended for students ages 7+. We ask caregivers to use their discretion and we encourage students to come with a genuine interest in the subject and an eagerness for active participation. With MG Lisa's expertise, they will gain a deeper understanding of plant biology, fostering scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills.
A caregiver must be present for this class, but please only register the number of children attending. While we love our gardening friends of all ages, we kindly ask unregistered not attend.
